Scholarships and student support
Most students who drop out of higher education in India do not fail. They run out of money in the second year, usually over something small — a hostel deposit, an exam fee, a bus pass.
We fund the whole cost of continuing, not just tuition: fees, books, a laptop where the course demands one, hostel charges and travel. Grants are annual and renewable, so a student is not left guessing whether next year is possible.
Priority goes to first-generation students, children of daily-wage and mathadi workers, and students who lost a parent. We do not require a caste certificate to qualify.

Questions about this programme
What marks do I need for a scholarship?
There is no fixed cut-off. We look at performance relative to the school and the circumstances a student is studying in, because a first-generation learner scoring 65% in a village school is often the stronger candidate.
Is the scholarship a loan?
No. It is a grant with no repayment and no obligation. We ask only that recipients stay in touch so we can report honestly on what the programme achieves.
