Yatra for NRI and overseas devotees
Families settled abroad for two generations often want to bring elderly parents on yatra, or to find the village their grandfather left, and have no idea how to arrange either from eight thousand kilometres away.
We plan and run those journeys. Routes built around what the family actually wants to see, temple and shrine arrangements made in advance, accommodation and transport suited to elderly travellers, and someone with them throughout who speaks the local language.
We also help trace ancestral places — the village, the family temple, the kuldevi shrine. It takes patience and local records, and it is often the part that matters most.
These journeys are run at cost. Whatever remains after expenses goes straight into the assisted yatra programme, so a family visiting from abroad directly funds an elderly pilgrim in India who could never afford to go.

Questions about this programme
Are you a tour operator?
No. We are a non-profit and these journeys are run at cost, with any surplus going to our assisted pilgrimage programme for people who cannot afford to travel. We do not operate as a commercial travel business.
Can you help us find our ancestral village?
Often, yes. Bring whatever you have — a surname, a gotra, a district, an old document, a family story. Tracing takes time and local record searching, and we are honest when a trail runs cold.
