Most rural health emergencies are late-stage versions of something that was cheap to treat a year earlier. Screening is unglamorous and it is where the difference is made.
We run camps that actually close the loop: screening, on-the-spot diagnosis where possible, medicines dispensed the same day, and referral with the travel and hospital cost covered for those who cannot pay.
Alongside camps we are building permanent premises — a clinic that is open on Tuesday when the camp has gone is worth more than a camp that visits twice a year.

Questions about this programme
Do you charge for treatment at camps?
No. Camps, screening and medicines dispensed at camps are free. Where surgery or hospital treatment is needed we assess the family's means and cover what they cannot.
How do I request a camp in my village or basti?
Write to us with the location, the approximate number of households and the main health concerns. We prioritise places with no functioning primary health centre within reach.
