Migrant worker support
A worker who moves from Jharkhand to Surat leaves his entitlements behind at the district border. His ration card does not travel, his children lose a school year, and if something happens to him his family may not learn of it for weeks.
We work on portability — moving ration entitlements, registering workers where they actually are, and getting children admitted mid-year rather than losing a year to a transfer certificate.
We also run tracing. Families who have lost contact with a migrant relative usually have nowhere to turn, and a phone number plus somebody who knows which authorities to ask solves more of these cases than people expect.

Questions about this programme
My relative went to work in another state and we have lost contact. Can you help?
Contact us with whatever you have — name, home village, the contractor or site if you know it, and when you last heard from them. We work with local administrations and site contacts to trace people, and many cases resolve within weeks.
Can my child join school mid-year after we move?
Legally yes, under the Right to Education Act, and in practice schools often refuse without a transfer certificate. We help with admission and, where needed, with getting the certificate from the previous school.
